And what a year it was in 2012!!  For me 2012 started with a bang!  Friends and close family celebrating the New Year great fun was had and then, anticipation rapidly moved into holding on for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!  I saw a healer in January that changed my life forever!  Little did I know that I asked for Mt. St. Helen's storm that would periodically blow up life as I knew it.  Lol, looking back it was a sobering learning experience.  I wish I could say I did it with grace and ease, but alas, I did not.  I had to let go of the pain and suffering that comes with not accepting and loving yourself.
So in hindsights, 2012 was a year of clearing out old and making room for new.  So with that in mind I have set my sights on goals for the coming year.  I like to look at short term goals and long term as well, here goes:
Make it to my third conference for CranioSacral (that's in a week so I'm about to check that off.), celebrate Lily's sweet sixteen (that's this weekend), get Lily driving, clean out closets and drawers, shred old paperwork, pair the socks ( you laugh but, you haven't seen our sock bin!!), clean up/update contact information, update website, add features like videos, meditations to website, get to SER2 in the next 6 months, TA at one conference before the end of the year, input clients and send postcards to client list, plan a family vacation, help Trevor and Andrew prepare for college, clean out storage areas, make photo slideshows for Andrew's graduation, plan a party for Andrew's graduation, update business licenses, look into working with Autistic children and PTSD vets, get on youtube, get on instagram, open well within fb page, get to as many games/awards/shows for the kids as possible, communicating clearly in every relationship.

Long term:  I have six years until all my children will have graduated from High school so in the next 6 years I'd like to work towards becoming a certified Upledger Institute CranioSacral Teacher.  This will require many hours of classes, seminars, study, rigorous testing and assisting.  It sounds like fun to me!  My plan at present is to work towards teaching 4 times a year for Upledger Institute.  I find the Cranio Sacral work to be fascinating, it has blended into what I have already studied very well.  I am enjoying my experiences working with clients presently, learning what CranioSacral Therapy or CST can do.  CST is awesome!  The science is in there (the why's and how's), the hands on is in there, the mental and emotional is in there, the spiritual is in there, it is a recipe the world needs. It looks like more than ever in our recorded history that the world is ready!  We need to help one another.  We need to love one another.  We need to learn who we are and what we are made of.  CST is a tool.  It can crack the toughest nuts!

I have often wondered what it is that I "should be" doing.  I have come to the conclusion that, that isn't so important, after all anything with a should is a judgement.  Now it is about what do I want to be doing.
For me I want to help people, animals and the Earth by educating people, providing services that promote positive changes and health.
My biggest longterm goal is to teach younger generations as I get older, these tools and skills I have accrued so that positive changes and health carries on long after me.

Well I'm off to a productive start, I blogged!!  And I paired some socks today!  Lol, to anyone reading this, what are your goals for this year?  Please share comments or goals, thanks!

Love and light to you in 2013!
